Our initiatives

The “Next Generation Education and Support Promotion Act” was enacted in 2005.  The “Next Generation Education and Support Promotion Act” is a law intended to establish an environment that supports the healthy birth and fostering of future generations of children.
And the  “Act on Promotion of Women‘s Participation and  Advancement in the Workplace”, commonly referred to as the “Women’s Workplace Promotion Act” was enacted in 2016 in Japan.
We have made and published action plans outlined based on those laws.
  • Nihon Nohyaku Co., Ltd. Action Plan for Next Generation Education and Support Promotion (November 24, 2017)
[Overview] Contributes to a comfortable environment for achieving balance in work and childcare while also contributing to society by supporting future generations. 
(Plan period: 2 years between January 1, 2018 - December 31, 2019)
  • Rate of childcare leave use - Males: Acquisition rate of 7% or higher during plan period; Females: Maintain acquisition rate of 75% or higher.
  • Development of diverse labor conditions that contribute to reviewing work style. (Considering flexible work styles not only depending on working hours or places, Reducing long working hours)
  • Promote use of annual paid leave. Average of 10 days/year per employee and higher.
  • Nihon Nohyaku Co., Ltd. Action Plan (April 1, 2016)
[Overview] Establishes environment for promoting continued employment by women and utilization of women in the workplace. 
(Plan period: 5 years between April 1, 2016 - March 31, 2021)
  • Percentage of female employees - 30% or more of total workforce.
  • 10% or more of management positions held by women.
  • Establish systems to enable flexible working styles.
We will continue to promote diversity as we strive to maintain an vibrant work environment for employees.
