Our company was established in 1928. From our outset, we have existed as a research and development-oriented company dedicated to the dissemination of advanced agrochemicals for the prevention of disease and insect damage technology to contribute to the modernization of Japanese agriculture. From that point, we have expanded business domains to include pharmaceuticals that are derivatives of agrochemicals and the other products related to improving living environments. Our mission is to contribute to society by ensuring a safe and steady food supply and improve the quality of life for all.

Nihon Nohyaku contribute to society by ensuring a safe and steady food supply and improve the quality of life for all, while continuing to introduce new agrochemicals that meet the needs of modern society. We continuously invest 10% of net sales in the R&D that propels our business activities. We have developed and patented 23 active ingredients for agrochemicals and 7 active ingredients for pharmaceuticals, animal health care products and chemicals. Moving forward, we have a goal of introducing 1 new compound every three years.
